A 20 year veteran in the appliance industry, Rodney Watkins is Sales Manager for Guy T. Gunter and Associates. A native of Decatur, Ga., Rodney served in the U.S. Coast Guard before beginning his career in the appliance business.
His first job in the industry was with an appliance company in the Emory area of Atlanta. There he worked in the warehouse and as a delivery person and later was was trained as an appliance installer. Once proficient in installation, warehouse and delivery operations, he was appointed Operations Manager.
After five years as Operations Manager, he became Sales Manager. Rodney jointed GTG in 2008 and with such an extensive career in the industry, he has quickly become part of the Gunter family and GTG team.
