Theron Gunter, Executive Director
Theron Gunter is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Guy T. Gunter and Associates. In this role, his mission is to ensure that GTG maintains its heritage of strong customer service, market leader, and innovator.
Grandson of the company’s founder, Theron literally grew up in the business. Wanting to spend as much time as he could with his grandfather, Theron would accompany Guy T. Gunter to work, often helping in the warehouse when needed. By the time Theron was 12, he was spending every school break learning the business and the various roles in the company. At 18, he officially joined the company full time. Over the next few years, he worked in a variety of roles, from warehouse worker, to installation assistant, to delivery truck driver. Soon he took over management of the warehouse, purchasing and operations.
In 2007, Theron oversaw the company’s move from Mid-town Atlanta to its current larger space off Howell’s Mill Rd. Soon after that, he was named GTG’s Executive Director. As Executive Director, Theron maintains a vision for the company that bridges the gap between old-school business values and new school efficiency.
